A spacious, modern and very neat family home.
If you are looking for a spacious house in fabulous condition that is completely ready to move in to, then this is worth a look. The house was built in 2002 and offers a great deal of space with the option of creating even more living accommodation, and adding a swimming pool.
In style, the property is very Spanish and modern but finished to a high standard. The cold winters have also been taken into consideration as there is a gasoil central heating system as well as an open fire. There is a large ground floor terrace that faces south and this would be the perfect place to install a swimming pool.
On the ground floor, there is an enormous garage! It could comfortable accommodation 4 cars, so it would make sense to split this to leave a garage at the front and use the larger rear area to create more living space - a games room, or additional bedrooms.
Also on the ground floor there is a bedroom with ensuite shower room, a large utility room and the boiler room. Stairs lead from the back of the house to the very spacious terrace, and below the utility room there is a lot of dry storage for logs, tools etc.
There is a main front door adjacent to the garage and a hallway with stairs to the first floor.
On the first floor, there are three spacious bedrooms (one of these is currently used as a TV room). Two of these bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with lots of storage space. Family bathroom.
Main living/dining/kitchen stretching from the front of the house to the rear. The windows at the front of the house all have views up to Moclín Castle and the church. At the back of this room there is a small terrace.
As one might expect of a modern house, the property is well insulated, has double glazed windows and mosquito screens. There are central heating radiators in all the principle rooms, and a fireplace in the large first floor living room.
Moclín is a very historic village in a stunning location on top of a mountain looking down across across the vega of Granada and towards the Sierra Nevada mountain range. There are two bars that are open all year and third chiringuito-style bar that is open during the summer as weekends and for fiestas. There is a small supermarket, a pharmacy, cash-point and medical clinic. Tourism is important to the village and this is a destination for hikers, cyclists and rock-climbers.
The annual Fiestas en Honor del Santísimo Cristo del Paño is one of the most important classical religious festivals in Spain and attracts an average of 15,000 visitors to the village. The festival has recently been declared to be of significant touristic importance.
